Sell your stuff
Clean your closet, garage, and attic and have a garage sale, or sell your items on eBay or Craigslist or Threadup. Or Clean out your jewelry box and sell you outdated and broken gold jewelry on sites like SellYourGold.com. You can even try your hand at flea market flipping to earn extra cash with little investment.
Craft for Cash
Are you crafty do you love to knit, woodwork, or quilt (or any other craft)? Sell your creations at local retailers, craft fairs, or online at sites geared to handmade items such as Etsy.
Make money off your skills
Sell your skills, do you know how to hem a pair of pants or skirt, mend clothing or do you have a knack for repairing appliances or fixing computers. Consider selling your services in your free time to earn some extra money.
Sell your knowledge
Sell your knowledge, if you have a vast knowledge of any subject that people may be interested in learning, why not write an e-book. You don’t have to be an award-winning writer you just need to have accurate information on the subject.

Sell your creativity
Do you like to dabble in photography or graphic design? There are sites such as Shutterstock, BigStockPhoto, and Fotolia (among others) where you upload your images and the buyer can download them for a fee, you get paid for each download.
Start a cleaning service
Start a cleaning or car detailing service. Even if you just have a few hours of spare time a week, you can make extra bucks by saving someone who may not have the time or is not physically able to do this themselves.
Put your handyman skills to work
Anyone can do some kind of handyman work in their spare time. It can be anything from mowing lawns and raking leaves to painting a porch or cleaning gutters. Again, a little bit of spare time can really make a dent in your debt or savings.
Take online surveys
Take online surveys or participate in focus groups on sited like MyPoints, Swagbucks, Amp Surveys, Opinion Surveys, Surveys Paid, Survey Downline, Paid Surveys at Home, and Get Cash for Surveys. Although you will not get rich or even replace your income, you can make some extra money in your spare time to contribute to your emergency fund or paying down debt.

If you are very knowledgeable about certain subjects, why not help out local children who are in need of a bit of extra help and tutor them. There are also some online services that will pay you to tutor. Check out tutor.com or Chegg.com.
Sell goods at your local farmers market
Do love to garden? Why not expand your garden a bit to produce more vegetables, fruits, and herbs to sell at your local farmers market. You can sell more at farmers markets, think outside the box. How about homemade bread, fresh pies, and flowers.
Host home parties
There are literally tons of companies that will pay you to have home parties to sell their products. Think Avon, Tupperware, Scentsy, Mary Kay, and many more. With some of these companies, you don’t even have to host a party. You can just pass the catalog around the office, and to family and friends and can earn a nice commission.

Freelance writer
If you are a good writer, check out sites such as Demand Studio, or upwork among many others for on-the-side writing jobs.
Graphic designer
Do you have a knack for designing graphics for websites, blogs, and logos? Find some extra money doing what you love at freelancer or simlyhired, among others to make a little or a lot of cash on the side or full-time.
Editing
If you have the talent of proofreading or freelance editor. Check out sites such as Flex Jobs, or Freelancer and Edit Fast for extra income.
