What makes the Price Is Right baby shower game so much fun and the perfect game for a shower is that it’s super easy to play since it’s simply a guessing game that anybody can play.
Plus, just about everybody knows the rules of the game since most of your party guest has likely seen the iconic game show on TV at one time or another.
And even if some guests haven’t seen the iconic game show, the rules are simple. Whoever gets closest to the regular retail price without going over wins a prize.

What’s nice about this baby shower party game is that there isn’t much you need to play this simple game.
All you really need to play this baby shower game is the free printable Price Is Right game templates ( download the digital files here), and the current price of each item.
Download and Print Game Sheets
Download this printable baby shower game card template. These include some popular baby items listed to make things easier.
Print enough copies of the Price is Right game sheet for all the guests plus one extra to use as a master answer sheet. You can print them on sturdy card stock to make them easier to handle.
If you don’t have a printer at home, you can have the game cards printed at your local print shop for a few dollars.
Fill in the Answer Sheet With the Actual Prices for Baby Items Listed
Next, you’ll need to create an answer key by getting the current prices of the baby products listed. This will be your answer key with the correct answers as the host of the baby shower game.
Simply run out to your nearest drug store and record the actual prices for each baby product on a game card.
You’ll also want to note the size or count of some of these baby items because the baby shower guests might ask for more detail to make their best guess.
You can also look up the prices online if you prefer.
I suggest you visit a drugstore or national chain online store such as Walgreens.com or CVS.com as opposed to Amazon since the prices on Amazon can fluctuate quite a bit.
How To Make Baby Shower Price is Right More Interactive
If you want to make this party game more realistic and interactive like our favorite game show a few ways.
First, you can show the guests images of the exact item you based the prices for baby items on for the answer sheet, such as the correct size, brand, size, or count.
You can either find images online or take your own photo of each product, print the images out, and display them on a whiteboard or blank wall.
You can even buy the baby items listed to give the contestants a visual of the baby products. Give descriptions of each physical product such as size and brand just like they do on the TV game show.
Once the party is over you can give the items to the mother-to-be as a gift.
How To Play The Price is Right Baby Shower Game
The game rules are simple, describe and/or show the party guests one item at a time and ask them to take their best guess on how much each item costs.
You may want to challenge guests to put away their mobile devices so they don’t get tempted to look up baby item costs online.
Once you’ve gone through each product, ask your guests to total the amounts of all the items on the Price is Right Baby shower game sheet. The person who got closest to the grand total without going over wins the prize.
You can also opt to give party guests prizes for each individual item instead of just having just one winner for the entire game if you’d like. Doing this will make this game last longer as well, so that’s something to keep in mind when planning the party.
