Apps are a great way to save money and put money back into your pocket.  I have put together a list of the best top 10 money saving apps that I have found and use on a regular basis that saved me hundreds of dollars.

These apps are a great way to add to your savings.  Apps can save you quite a bit of money even if you are the type of person who doesn’t want to clip coupons or just doesn’t have the time.  Or they can be used along with clipped paper coupons to save you big time money!!

I personally use these apps along with paper coupons and store loyalty programs.  By combining all these strategies, I get lots of products for very cheap if not free, and even make money from buying some items.  Download these apps to start on the road to saving!!

Top 10 Money Saving Apps

Saving StarSavingStar is one of my favorite apps.  Simply sign up for an account, enter your store loyalty cards and choose the offers you want.  When you purchase the item with your loyalty card, the money is automatically added to your account within a day or two.  

You can also upload your receipt if the store you purchased the item at doesn’t have a loyalty program. SavingStar also has a cash back shopping portal, simply shop online through the portal and you will get a percentage of your purchase put back into your SavingStar account. You can deposit your savings money into your bank account, through PayPal or redeem for gift cards at various retailers.Using apps is a great way to save money without couponing. Ibotta   Ibotta is another great app, simply sign up for an account, unlock the offers you want, snap a picture of your receipt and verify your purchase. You get money deposited into your account within a day or so which can be redeemed for gift cards or deposited into your PayPal account.  You can also get $5 for inviting each friend to join.

CO51 Checkout 51 is another app I use all the time.  Simply sign up for an account and when you purchase one or more participating product just snap a picture of your receipt and money will be deposited into your account once your receipt is verified.  The great part about Checkout 51 is that you can purchase the items at any store and you are entered into a $500 monthly giveaway every time you submit a receipt of $60.00 or more.   You will get a check by mail when you redeem your earning.

 

Mobisave Mobisave is another shopping app that is easy to use. Just browse their offers, save what you plan on purchasing then take a photo of your receipt once you make the purchase. There are also “any brand” offers so if they have an offer for dish soap you can purchase any brand you want and get rewarded for buying what you would have anyway.  The best part is Mobisave deposits your rewards into your PayPal account within a few days every time you earn rewards, no minimums.

Shrink Shrink is a great app that has a lot of healthy offers.  Like most of these other apps you purchase products, scan the barcode and take a picture of your receipt.  You can also earn points for watching clips, taking polls and inviting friends to join. You can redeem your points for rebates, freebies or cash deposited into your PayPal account.

Shopmium Shopmium is another app that rewards you for purchasing specific products.  Just purchase a participating product, scan the barcode and take a picture of your receipt. Funds are deposited into PayPal or your bank account and you can earn $2.00 for every friend you invite who signs up. Use referral code KHCKAGAK to receive a free Lindt Chocolate bar

Shopkick Shopkick is a great app because you can earn kick points without just without even buying anything.  They reward you just for walking into a store or scanning certain items. They also reward you for making purchases of select items. You can even earn invite friends to join and earn bonus points when your friends earn points. Kick points can redeem for gift cards from a variety of places.

Berry cart Berry Cart is an app that will save you money for purchasing organic, gluten-free, or non-GMO food.  I like this app because you can purchase and redeem offers from any store with a valid receipt. You can also invite friends for more earnings.  You can redeem your earnings for gift cards or a PayPal deposit.  

 Receipt hog Receipt Hog is not exactly a couponing app because you don’t need to purchase a specific product to get rewarded.  All you have to do is take a picture of your receipts from just about any store to earn coins which can be redeemed for a PayPal deposit or Amazon gift card.  You are also awarded spin to play Hog Slots where you can win more coins, cash or a free shopping trip.

Receipt pall Receipt Pal is another app that is not really a couponing app.  This app is like Receipt Hog, all you need to do is snap pictures of your receipts from anywhere, not just stores but also restaurants, convenience stores, gas stations or any place that provides a valid receipt.  You earn points for snapping pics which can be redeemed for gift cards at various retailers.
