Benefits of Papaya

Papaya is a tropical fruit that is rich in Vitamin C and Beta-carotene. It is also a good source of fiber, potassium, and folate.

Papaya is an excellent source of vitamin C and beta-carotene, which are both essential for our immune system to function properly. Papayas are also rich in fiber and potassium, which help maintain healthy blood pressure levels and regulate digestion.

How to Pick the Perfect Papaya

Picking the perfect papaya can be a tricky task. It’s not easy to tell which one is ripe and ready to eat. But it doesn’t have to be! You can pick the perfect papaya by following these 5 simple steps.

1) Check for color- A green or yellow papaya is not ready. Look for a papaya that’s more orange in color, this means it’s ripe and ready to eat!

2) Squeeze the fruit- If you can barely squeeze any juice out of it then it’s not ripe yet! Keep looking until you find one that has some juice in it.

3) Smell the fruit- Smelling the fruit will give you an idea of how sweet or sour it will taste when you eat it. If you are unable to smell anything, this may mean that the fruit is not yet ripe.

If you are unsure if it is ripe, feel its skin to see if it is soft.
